A child's head is sweating profusely-causes
In newborns, this phenomenon can be caused by various factors:
- if increased sweating is noted during feeding, then this may be a reaction to the physical load that is sucking;
- if sweating is noted during sleep, then this may be one of the signs of rickets;
- When mother notices sweat on the head of a baby during sleep, but wakes up dry, it is most likely a consequence of a disorder of the autonomic nervous system and usually everything returns to normal with age.
Many mothers are most worried about the possibility of developing rickets. And you should remember that this disease has a number of other symptoms and if they are absent, then it is unlikely that such a diagnosis will be true. If the doctor confirms suspicions, the timely treatment will avoid all the consequences of the ailment.
Sometimes on the question of why the child's head sweats heavily, mothers not only think of babies, but also of older children. In general, this can be an individual feature. But sometimes it can talk about violations in the body, due to:
- heart failure;
- catarrhal disease;
- thyroid problems;
- reactions to taking medications or allergies.
But most often the answer to the question, why the child's head sweats, lies on the surface. The reason may be:
- high humidity in the room;
- synthetic clothes, bed linen;
- stuffiness in the room;
- too warm clothes.
Parents can independently adjust these conditions, thereby increasing the comfort for themselves and their child.
