Allocations for ovulation

The ability to calculate the time of ovulation can be useful to every woman, someone in order to know the "safe" days, and someone to calculate the optimal days for conception. There are several methods for determining ovulation. Let's consider one of them, namely, how to determine ovulation for excreta, well, at the same time we will understand why there are discharges during ovulation.

Causes of the appearance of excreta during ovulation

Why do ovulation appear at all? This happens for several reasons, one of which is the rupture of the follicle, from which a mature egg appears. Those who have forgotten, we recall that after the start of the cycle in the ovaries begin to mature eggs. And they are in a kind of capsules - follicles. After a certain time, among these follicles, a leader, the so-called dominant follicle, is identified. It is from him subsequently matured, ready for fertilization, an egg. The output process is often compared with a mini-explosion inside the ovary, and this can lead to insignificant secretions. Therefore, the discharge during ovulation may be bloody or brown. In principle, both types of secretions are a variant of the norm, but more often the release on the day of ovulation has a brownish tinge, rather than scarlet, as during menstruation.

There is one more explanation of the excretions in ovulation - these are changes in the hormonal background. At this time, the woman's body produces more estrogen. A change in the level of estrogen leads to the release of luteinizing hormone, which in turn gives the follicle command to release the mature egg. But it is the peak level of the estrogen hormone in the female body that is considered the main cause of excretion in ovulation.

What should be ovulation?

Each lady believes that any discharge from the vagina (if it's not about the monthly, of course) is a pathology. But this is not always the case, there are cases when allocation is normal. For example, with ovulation, white mucus secretions, similar to egg white, are considered normal. However, under the influence of hormones, secretions can change their color and when ovulating, as well as pregnancy and before menstruation, be yellow. Also normal are not the abundant bloody and brownish discharge during ovulation. But it is worth remembering that not always such ovulation discharges are the norm, in some cases it is evidence of various gynecological diseases.

Causes of bleeding in ovulation

  1. As already mentioned above, the cause of the appearance of small (not requiring the use of hygiene products) bloody discharge during ovulation can be in the rupture of the follicle, which in some women is accompanied by a slight bleeding.
  2. Increasing the level of estrogen, which affects the mucous membrane of the uterus, can also be the cause of bleeding.
  3. Taking certain medicines affects the menstrual cycle. For this reason, bleeding may occur during ovulation.
  4. Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the genital organs.
  5. The cause of bleeding may be the use of an intrauterine device.
  6. Decreased thyroid activity.
  7. Reception of hormonal contraceptives.
  8. Fibroids, uterine polyps, erosion of the cervix and other diseases of the genitals can be accompanied by bloody discharge, appearing in the middle of the menstrual cycle.
  9. Among other things, severe diseases, such as cancer, can be the cause of bleeding during ovulation.
