Permanent make-up has long taken a strong position in cosmetology. This is not surprising, given the accelerating pace of life and, as a consequence, reducing the amount of free time for self-care. But, unfortunately, for various reasons, we have to deal with the problems of permanent make-up, the solution of which is a difficult task.
Pros and cons
The procedure under consideration consists in staining the upper layers of the skin in the desired color and giving the eyebrows the desired shape.
Benefits:
- there is no need for daily tinting of the eyebrows;
- perfect shape and color;
- lasting effect.
Disadvantages:
- tattoo of eyebrows assumes intensive skin care after the procedure;
- some soreness in manipulation;
- the need to protect the skin from the sun;
- requires regular correction of eyebrows after tattooing.
In addition, there is a risk of getting to an unprofessional master who uses inexpensive tools and materials of questionable production. This will inevitably lead to troubles and problems with skin health.
Is it painful?
Before the procedure begins, the eyebrow zone must be treated with an anesthetic gel or spray, so usually the tattoo is transferred well. But in this case it is impossible to say with certainty that there will be no unpleasant sensations at all, because the pain threshold is different for each woman.
And what are the consequences?
The most common consequences of a substandard procedure are:
- hair loss in the eyebrow area, which is associated with the presence of toxic chemicals in the paint;
- poorly selected color due to the incompetence of the master;
- a strong change in the tint of the tattoo, up to an unacceptable blue and green tone, which is usually the result of the use of expired dyes;
- prolonged and painful skin irritation, which can occur against a background of poorly disinfected instruments or a blunt needle.
Moreover, an unsuccessful tattoo of eyebrows includes such consequences as the different shape and length of eyebrows. This is perhaps the most unpleasant moments, since correction can be carried out only after 10 days.
How to remove eyebrow tattoo?
It is worth noting that if you have enough patience, the permanent will lighten up with time and then disappear. But if the unsuccessful eyebrow tattoo has led to noticeable consequences, you should consult a dermatologist or a cosmetologist working in a laser therapy room.
Removal of eyebrow tattooing is similar to tattooing, but in this case the power of the device is much smaller. The essence of manipulation is the burning of the laser beam of the upper layers of the skin, which dry up and peel off within 2 weeks. Thus, each repeated exposure can remove a deeper layer of the dermis. Significant lightening of the permanent is achieved after 2-3 procedures of laser therapy, almost complete removal of the tattoo is possible only after 5 manipulations.
Contraindications
You can not perform the procedure during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. In addition, it is worth to be cautious and to refuse eyebrow tattooing in the presence of the following diseases:
- hypertension;
- epilepsy;
- diseases of the cardiovascular system;
- tumors;
- blood cancer;
- a cold or flu;
- increased sensitivity or the occurrence of allergic reactions to coloring pigments;
- dermatoses, dermatitis of various origin;
