Fulufjället Park is one of Sweden 's top tourist attractions , although it was founded relatively recently, in 2002, by the current King Charles XVI Gustaf. It is located in the central region of the country, near the border with Norway , and covers the Swedish part of the homonymous massif, which, incidentally, is considered the southernmost stretch of the Scandinavian mountains in the Kingdom. Territorially, Fulufjellet is located in the commune of Elvdalen (Dalarna province), 26 km south-west of Serny.

Climate

With regard to weather conditions, in this region of Sweden the continental climate predominates, characterized by a small amount of precipitation, relatively cold winters and arid hot summers. The weather in these parts is very changeable and can change up to 3 times a day, so the presence of warm clothing and waterproof windbreaker even in the warm season is mandatory.
