How to type loops on spokes?

Each knitted thing begins with a set of loops. Correctly type loops in a free manner, as it is necessary for ease of operation with the first row. To do this without problems (if you are a beginner), you can type loops at once on two spokes, as this will create the necessary clearance. For skilled craftsmen, there is practically no difference between a set of one or two knitting needles.

Knitting with knitting needles: how to type loops?

Craftsmen of knitting know very well how to correctly type loops, can do this in several ways. A beginner is better to try each of them, because it is difficult to foresee in advance what exactly you will like. Depending on the complexity of knitting with knitting needles, loops are dialed differently, since for each case there is an ideal type of set.

  1. A simple set of loops. This is the most accessible way, which all beginners knitters master first. Due to its simplicity, this way of tying loops is very popular among craftsmen for more than one generation. A simple set allows you to very quickly perform the typing edge of the canvas. Consider how to type loops in the simple way correctly. The first rule: the length of the drooping end of the thread should be twice the width of the web. Circle the thread around the thumb and index finger, and press the ends of the threads with a little finger and an unnamed finger. We approach the thread located between the index finger and the thumb, from top to bottom, and along with it the front wall of the loop from the index finger. As a result, the spokes should appear in the formed loop. Next, grab the thread that comes out of the index finger. We take out the thumb, tighten the noose. Now the needles to pick up the thread that is on the outside of the thumb and bring it under the thread between the thumb and forefinger. Now pick up the thread that goes from the index finger, take out the thumb, again tighten the loop. Repeat the sequence until the desired edge length is typed.
  2. How to type loops in a cruciform way? This method allows you to make a particularly smooth and neat edge of the canvas. To begin with, we fold the thread in half. We put a thread around the thumb and then on the outside of the thumb and forefinger. To make it more convenient to work, the end of the thread should be pressed with a little finger and an unnamed finger. In the direction to the inner side of the thumb, we pick up the thread that goes from the index finger. Pull the thread into the loop, as we do in a simple set. Then put the filament folded in half around the thumb so that the free end is on the palm of your hand. We press the string again with the little finger and the index finger. We wind knitting needles for a double thread. Spigots pick up the finger from the index finger, pull out the finger and tighten the loop. After that, you need to turn the thread around the thumb. Put the thread in such a way that its free end is the front wall of the loop. Pick up the needle thread from the index finger, wind it under the front wall of the loop at the base of the thumb. Now pull out the loop again, take out the finger and tighten it. Thus, the end of the folded string first passes behind the thumb, then in front of it. If you type loops on the needles as described, then the edge itself will carry a decorative function.
  3. How to dial loops in an Italian way? To type loops along the edge in this way, as you think, it will fit Is it, because the edge will stretch freely. For work, you only need to use one spoke, or you can take a thinner spoke than the one you prepared for further work. The first loop is performed in the usual way. Then we put the thread from the index finger over the knitting needle and overlap it. Pick up the spoke with the front wall of the loop, which is located at the base of the thumb, remove the finger and tighten the loop. We thread the needle from the index finger. Again, grasp the front of the hinge at the base of the thumb.
