Landing kohii in the open ground is carried out in late May - early June.

The plant prefers a loose, nutritious soil with a neutral reaction. Before planting kohiyu in the soil make nitrogen fertilizer. 10 days after planting in the soil, the plant is fertilized. The next feeding is done after one month. Further, the kohya is continued to be fed once a week with liquid fertilizer. With insufficient feeding, the leaves will lose their bright color, look lifeless.

During the growing season, it is necessary to constantly loosen and weed the ground.

If the yard is dry weather, then the plant should be abundant and often watered. Otherwise, it may lose its appeal.

Kohia: Reproduction

Propagate the kohya seeds, which begin to sow in the second half of March. Despite the fact that the seedlings are able to withstand a slight decrease in temperature, it is nevertheless necessary to provide it with an ambient temperature in the region of 18-20 degrees. Therefore, it is preferable to sow the seeds in the open ground in the greenhouse.

Furrows make a depth of one centimeter. Since the kohya is a freedom-loving plant, the distance between the seeds should be at least 30 cm. Since the seedlings need a sufficiently large amount of light, they do not dig deep into the ground, but only slightly press down.

Seedlings should be watered abundantly. If the moisture is not enough, then its leaves will become lifeless and will lower their tips down.

Kokhiya is able to reproduce by self-sowing, so periodically the planting will need to be thinned out. Otherwise, the bushes will press each other.
