Under the human skin is a loose connective tissue, which is called fatty tissue. Due to various factors, a benign tumor or lipoma may develop from it - the causes of this pathology are diverse, but, as a rule, they have a persistent violation of metabolic processes in the body.
Lipomas on the body
It should be noted that the examined neoplasms can occur on any part of the skin, internal organs and even in the brain. The process begins with the growth of adipose tissue in one area or area and the further formation of a dense tumor (often with certain boundaries). In rare cases, there are so-called diffuse lipomas - masses of a grove type, the limits of which are difficult to establish during palpation and pressure.
The danger of the zhirovik is that it can be regenerated into a liposarcoma (benign), and also penetrate deep into the muscular tissue, down to the superstructure and vascular bundles.
At the same time, ordinary lipomas are completely painless and do not cause discomfort, except for a non-esthetic appearance. When feeling, they are quite mobile.
Lipoma on the leg or arm
Wen often infect limbs, as these parts of the body are easily susceptible to injuries, cuts and abrasions that cause infection of the subcutaneous adipose tissue. In addition, a factor predisposing to the growth of lipomas, sometimes becomes overweight, an excess of loose cell clusters (cellulite).
Other causes that cause neoplasms on the hands and feet are:
- violation of the daily routine;
- unbalanced diet;
- Unhealthy Lifestyle;
- intoxication of the body with chemicals;
- bruises, fractures, various injuries of the joints;
- inadequate motor activity.
It is worth noting that spilled lipomas on the limbs are usually accompanied by gigantism - a sharp increase in the legs or arms in size compared to the rest of the body.
Lipoma on the back and neck
The specified areas of the body are the most common places where wenenorms are diagnosed, because under the skin of the upper back, shoulders and neck a little fatty tissue.
The causes of the lipoma in this case are supposedly the following:
- deficiency of enzymes that regulate protein-fat metabolism;
- contamination of tissues with radionuclides and toxins;
- injuries;
- labor activity associated with the long-term need for tension in the muscles of the back and neck.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to establish exactly the factors that cause the growth of lipid tissue.
Lipoma on the head
Often, greens meet in the scalp, usually closer to the forehead or on the crown. The causes of this pathology are not clear, but there are several theories about this:
- diabetes mellitus and other endocrine disorders;
- alcoholism, drug addiction, smoking;
- insufficiency of adrenal and pancreatic function;
- malignant tumors of the respiratory tract (upper).
Lipoma of the kidney, adrenal gland, breast
Neoplasms within the body develop from adipose tissue, which covers the outer surface of the organ.
It is rather difficult to diagnose such lipomas, because they palpate rarely, it is necessary to do tomograms, ultrasound or radiographic examinations.
The causes of the pathological growth of adipose tissue of internal organs are not known for today. It is assumed that there are genetic predisposing factors and metabolic disorders of the thyroid gland.
Lipoma of the brain
It is difficult to detect this type of tumor, it is usually found accidentally with concomitant studies. It is believed that the cause of neoplasms of this kind in the brain is insufficient functioning of the pituitary gland and a deficiency of hormones produced by it, but there is no scientific confirmation of this theory.
