Names of groups in kindergarten

Your baby has grown up and become almost independent, which means it's time to get ready for kindergarten. When a child grows in a caring environment of parents and grandmothers it is very good - the baby is always full, clean and warmly dressed.

But if he is deprived of communication with peers, then in later life it will be more difficult for him to adapt to the new conditions of life. To prevent this, a child needs a children's team, where he can learn to communicate with his own kind, and comprehend his first worldly science.

Depending on the age at which the child goes to a children's institution, he falls into a certain group, according to the number of his years. In different regions, the classification of group names in kindergartens varies slightly by name, but this does not affect the age qualification.

What groups are there in kindergarten?

1. Nursery group. It is visited by the youngest children, from one and a half years to two years inclusive. In some kindergartens there are two such groups - the first and the second. In the first kids 1,5 - 2 years, in the second from 2 to 3 years. These are the smallest groups, because most of the children go to the garden later.
2. The first junior group. This includes children of two to three years. It is also sometimes called the second nursery.
3. Second junior group. Its contingent is children from 3 to 4 years. Usually it is at this age that babies are given to a children's institution when mother goes to work after maternity leave.
4. The middle group. It is everywhere average, there can no longer be any confusion. Clearly set the age gap - 4-5 years.
5. Senior group. It is intended for children at the age of 5 to 6 years.
6. Preparatory group. The name speaks for itself. This is a group for children who are preparing to become first-graders, they are from 6 or more years old. But they are not in all the gardens, in some older - the latest in front of the school. In it you can meet children who still have to stay in the kindergarten for one or two years, and those who will already be a graduate.

Parents often do not understand what the selection criteria for certain groups of kindergarten exist in this institution. In any case, the last decision remains for the leadership of the institution, which should be addressed first.
