This drug is a mixture of two natural silicates: magnesium and aluminum, which is called dioctahedral smectite.

The drug under consideration has high plastic viscosity values, so it envelops the mucous membranes of the intestine and thereby increases their resistance to irritating factors of any type (food, viruses, infections, bacteria). Moreover, Smecta serves as a sorbent, binding free radicals and toxins, protects the intestines.

Indications for the use of Smecta are:
- chronic, acute diarrhea;
