The main condition for growing apple trees is fertile soil and good lighting. These trees grow anywhere except on an excessively alkaline and acidic soil, but in our latitudes, fortunately, it is not very common. When planting apple trees, it is also not worth choosing areas where groundwater is located at shallow depths.
Apple trees, like most fruit trees, need balanced and proper nutrition. It can be ensured by introducing various fertilizers into the soil. To feed the apple trees should be when they did not enter the active growth phase (early spring) or after harvest (in autumn). The main types of nutritious fertilizing are organic and mineral fertilizers.
Autumn feeding

Remember, nitrogen fertilizing is the key to normal growth of the root system of apple trees, but if you apply a large number of these fertilizers, you will harm the tree. The fact is that the excess of nitrogen makes the wood ripen badly, and in frosts it leads to its freezing.
