Valeological education of preschool children

Modern studies of both adults and children show that the level of human health today is significantly reduced, life expectancy has decreased, and a tendency to morbidity has increased, especially in periods of epidemics. Success in work and in personal life largely depends on the state of health, both physical and psychological. Basically, the state of the body and spirit of a person depends on 50% of the way of life. Therefore, one of the important tasks for parents and educators is the maintenance of health in the process of education, upbringing and playing. And since the laying of the foundations of the personality is still in the preschool age, the art of strengthening and maintaining health should be dealt with from a kindergarten. Valeology refers to the science of a healthy lifestyle, as well as the formation, strengthening, preservation and management of it. Kids get acquainted with the parts of their body, the senses, with their meaning and care for them. Personal hygiene skills are fixed in the role-play games ("House", "Daughters-mothers").

The role of parents in the education of the valeological culture of preschool children

For the success of forming a healthy lifestyle, it is important to involve parents in the educational process in the kindergarten. Firstly, at kindergarten meetings they are introduced to the principles of valeologic education, conduct talks on the topic hardening, proper nutrition, for them are placed stands describing the regime of the child's day. Sports events and contests are also held where children participate together with their parents (for example, "Dad, Mom and I - Sports Family", "Health Day"). Parents are invited to thematic matinees ("Journey to the country of health", "What is useful for teeth and what is harmful?").

In general, the foundations of health are laid from a very early age. Therefore, educators and parents need to make joint efforts to secure the children the necessary skills and knowledge.
