Types of behavior

All people are subject to different types of rules of conduct - at work, in the family, in public places. Curiously, the rules for all are the same, but the ways to comply with the norms are different. Two people engaged in the same activity can behave quite differently. Why this happens, it is clear - we are all different, so it is not necessary to understand the reasons. But about what kinds of human behavior there are, it is worthwhile to talk in more detail.

Types of personal behavior

To denote the behavior of a person in society, the term "social behavior" is used, the species of which exists a great variety. Therefore, we select only the main varieties.

  1. Mass behavior is the activity of the general mass of people, not leading to the achievement of any particular goal. For example, panic, fashion, social or political parties, etc.
  2. Group behavior is the concerted actions of people within a social group.
  3. Prosocial behavior is an action based on the desire to help and support people.
  4. Asocial behavior - actions that run counter to generally accepted norms. This is a large group of different types of behavior, which we will consider later.

Also, modern researchers pay great attention to the following classification of behaviors:

Types of antisocial behavior

  1. Harmful habits - drug addiction, alcoholism, smoking. Often used by teenagers in an attempt to assert themselves.
  2. Escape from home. Also characteristic of adolescents who do not see another way to solve problems.
  3. Sexual abnormalities.
  4. Actions of a criminal nature.
  5. Suicide, suicide attempts and self-harm.
  6. Fears and obsessions - fear of darkness, heights, loneliness.
  7. Dysmorphobia is an unreasonable belief in the presence of physical disabilities.
  8. Motor disinhibition is the inability to focus on anything.
  9. Pathological fantasies are a reluctance to live in the real world.
