The wedding was considered a beautiful symbol of the fact that a woman and a man who made an alliance must engage in procreation. It was believed that the wedding can protect from spoilage and negative energy, evil, grief and evil eye.

The significance of the Slavic charm of the wedding in Russia was difficult to overestimate. Of course, that this amulet is an exceptionally positive symbol, which was never worn in the form of a "pure" amulet, that is, on the body. Our ancestors believed that such manipulation of energy flows is unacceptable. This amulet was created in order to achieve a specific goal, and therefore should be used for its intended purpose.

The wedding ring represents four rings, which are connected in pairs and form an open eight. This combination gives two values ​​- the cycle and infinity. Thus, a person should not forget that is connected with an inseparable connection with the spiritual essence. The fact that the elements of the symbol were directed in four directions was a reminder that young spouses should live only within the framework of their present family.
