In the apartment, the Alaskan Malamute will feel good enough only if it is possible to visit the street a lot. It will be very useful to use a pet for its intended purpose, that is, for driving, or at least to run with it. More often these dogs are kept in cottages where it is possible to equip an enclosure. In any case, one must be ready for the favorite occupation - earthwork. They just love to dig holes, so that, firstly, your site can quickly turn into a place of excavations, and secondly, on the paws and wool the animal will bring a lot of dirt into the house. Wool generally will be many, especially during the moult, because these dogs are designed for outdoor maintenance and have a very dense undercoat.
