Buns for a French hot dog differ in form from buns for a Danish hot dog. And most importantly their difference is just in appearance. In the first case, in a bun on one side, cut off the top (a hump), and inside we make a groove with a knife, in which we pour ketchup, mayonnaise and insert a sausage.

The second version of buns is often prepared with sesame seeds from above. Then cut the bun on one side along and inward they put in the stuffing and add the sauces: ketchup and mustard .
