Exercises for the eyes with myopia

Nearsightedness, or myopia, is called visual impairment, in which a person can not clearly see the removed objects. In traditional medicine gymnastics for eyes with short-sightedness is prescribed to prevent further development of the disease and correction of vision.

Treatment for myopia - exercises

Eye gymnastics short-sightedness will cure only in combination with charging for the spine. With violations in the spine, the blood supply to the eye muscles and brain tissues deteriorates, which is often the cause of vision problems. It is also necessary to perform relaxing exercises during the day, especially with a heavy eye strain. The following simple eye exercises for myopia can be performed at any time, in between work to relax and train the eye muscles:

  1. Close your eyes, rubbing your palms, attach them to the eyeballs for 30 seconds, but not tightly, and so that the palms form hemispheres.
  2. When reading or using a computer, you need to blink as often as possible. As soon as a feeling of fatigue begins to appear in the eyes, blink quickly after 50 seconds, then sit for a few minutes with your eyes closed.

  4. In the sitting position, keeping an even spine, look to the right and left, up and down 20 times.

  6. Perform rotational movements with eyeballs, 20 circles clockwise and 20 counterclockwise.
  7. Close your eyes tight and count to 50, then open and look into the distance, also count to 50, repeat 15 times.
  8. Pull your arm out in front of you and look at your thumb, raise your hand up and down, then turn to the right and left, do not take your eyes off your finger, 6 times in each direction.
  9. Look first at the object in front of you (it should be at a distance of half a meter), then look out the window, without straining the eye muscles, try to view the objects in the distance. Perform slowly 6 times.
  10. Sitting in a level position on a chair, tilt your head back, look at the ceiling for 30 seconds, lower your head down and look at your knees for 30 seconds, repeat 5 times.
  11. With your eyes closed, make slow rotational movements with your head, 8 times clockwise and 8 times counterclockwise.
  12. With your eyes closed, sitting on a chair, bend your back with an arch, lowering your head down, then straighten your back and remove the shoulder blades. Exercise should be done 20 times at a calm pace.

An obligatory condition for working with vision is alternation of tension and relaxation. Exercises should not cause discomfort and especially painful sensations.
