Fried cheese is one of the popular national dishes of Czech cuisine. Everyone who at least once visited the Czech Republic and tried a real "greased" cheese, without any doubt, will want to cook this dish at home. Fried cheese is not only a delicious appetizer for beer, but also a great option for a hearty breakfast. Let's consider with you recipes for cooking roasted cheese.

Cheese, fried in batter

How to cook fried cheese? We take any cheese of hard varieties and cut it into small blocks.

In a separate bowl, whisk a well with a mixer of eggs with flour or breadcrumbs, add a little curry seasoning and mix thoroughly. Then gently roll the cheese sticks in the resulting batter and fry them on vegetable or olive oil on both sides until a golden brown crust is formed. Then we remove the grilled cheese, shift it to a flat dish and sprinkle on top with any unfriendly seasoning and finely chopped greens.

That's all, cheese is ready in batter! You can serve it as a snack or even a dessert for fruits, only then as a seasoning it is better to use curry, cinnamon or vanilla instead of curry. This amazing snack is a real treat for all cheese lovers. And to serve it is especially tasty with fresh salad and white dry wine.

Cheese roasted with breadcrumbs

We cut the cheese into wide flat bars approximately 1.5 cm thick and sides 8 cm. Mix the wheat flour with salt in a plate, add spice to taste. Then, in a separate deep bowl, break two eggs, beat them with a mixer or fork. In the third plate we pour breadcrumbs. Then gently roll each piece of cheese first in flour, then dip it completely into egg mass and then roll in breadcrumbs. We repeat this sequence with each piece of cheese several times.

Next, add the prepared pieces to a plate and remove it for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator to freeze.

This time we pour a little vegetable oil into the frying pan and put it on a weak fire. As soon as it heats up, fry each cheese slice about 2 minutes on each side on a very strong fire until a golden crust appears. Remember that the stronger the fire, the quicker the crust will grasp and the less cheese will flow out into the frying pan.

Immediately serve the roast cheese on the table while it is hot, laying it on a dish decorated with lettuce leaves.

In order to make this snack more original, you can add any spices to the breading. For example, such as ground paprika or dried garlic. An excellent addition to this snack will be sweet and sour cranberry jam or garlic sharpened sauce.
