International Day of Laughter

April 1 is not an official holiday in any state. However, it is unlikely that at least one adult in the developed world does not know what day the day of laughter is celebrated. After all, this most cheerful day of the year allows everyone, regardless of age and social status, to get distracted from everyday bustle and shine with a sense of humor before friends, colleagues or relatives.

The history of the holiday is estimated in hundreds, and even thousands of years. In different countries, the reasons for the celebration are fundamentally different. There are even different names for the holiday: "Day of Laughter", "Day of the Tail", "April Fool's Day", "False Day" and "Fool's Day". But everywhere, regardless of the name, the world day of laughter is united by the same principle: "I do not believe anyone on April 1", but at the heart of the holiday lies the desire to cheer people, and not to offend him.

Fun on the Day of Laughter

Every nation has its own traditions and features of celebration. So on the islands of Britain, jokes are taken just after midnight, and only for 12 hours. Drawing in the afternoon is already a bad omen. This explains the love of the British for the morning's fun with sewing any pieces of clothing or tying laces. In most European countries, a very popular joke is the request to bring some non-existent thing. Italians on the same day "the day of laughter" traditionally glue each other on the back of the fish, made of colored paper. But the most capable of jokes and rallies are the Russians. They can also make up soap with a colorless nail varnish , and fill mayonnaise with an empty tube from under the toothpaste, and even the laundry soap, poured over with strawberry jam, is given for oatmeal cookies. Funny events are held in Russian schools by the day of laughter.
