Most common aphids settle on the plum, apple, cherry, apricot . And if you notice that the leaves on the trees have become sluggish, twisted and deformed, and on the bottom, many small bugs are attacking aphids. Time comes to apply some methods of combating garden aphids.

Effective methods for controlling aphids

All methods and means of combating aphids on fruit trees are divided into mechanical, folk, chemical and biological.

The mechanical method consists in manually removing the affected leaves and washing the trees from the hose. However, this can only serve as an additional measure. In addition, you need to use chemical or biological products.

Biological methods of fighting aphids

Chemical preparations from aphids on garden trees

They are divided into contact, systemic and intestinal, depending on the method of exposure to aphids. Contact ("Fufan", "Fury", etc.) lead to the death of aphids instantly, penetrating into her body in a matter of seconds.

System ("Aktara") penetrate into the juice of the plant, making it toxic to insects, not washed away by rain. Intestinal preparations ("Confidor", "BI-58 New") also act quickly, getting into the digestive system of aphids during nutrition.

If you are against chemical treatments, folk methods of fighting aphids on trees will come to the rescue:

  1. Infusion of garlic - 100 g of crushed garlic should be diluted in a bucket of water and insist for 2 days, after which sprinkle the trees.
  2. Infusion of tobacco - diluted and infused solution should be diluted in a proportion of 1: 3 and treat diseased trees.
  3. Infusion celandine with the addition of potato and tomato leaves, standing for 3 days.
  4. Infusion of nettle - 1 kg of nettle leaves per 10 liters of water, insist a few days.
  5. Ash infusion with the addition of laundry soap.
  6. Kerosene-soap emulsion - 80 g of kerosene, 40 g of soap diluted in a small amount of hot water, then pour the mixture into 10 liters of water.

The treatment with all listed solutions and infusions should be repeated periodically. Any of the applied folk remedies makes the leaves of the tree unpleasant and unpleasant for aphids, and it simply leaves by itself.
