Suspended mobile phones for kids are sold in a wide range, but the cost of such educational toys is quite high. In addition, it is not always possible to choose a suitable option for the child. Children's mobile in the crib for the newborn baby can be made with their own hands from the materials that will be found in every home. A lot of time it does not take away. In this master class we will tell you how to make your own mobile phone and holder for it.
You will need:
- a wooden cube (8x8 cm);
- four wooden racks of the same length with a circular section;
- cord;
- dowel;
- paint;
- metal hook;
- felt of different colors;
- sintepon;
- thread, needle.
- Let's start with the manufacture of the holder for the mobile. To do this, drill holes at the intersection of the diagonals on the four faces of the cube. On the top face make a small hole for the hook, where it is then screwed.
- In each rail at a distance of 2-3 centimeters from the end, drill a small hole in which you can thread the cord. At the end of the cord, tie a knot. Then insert the slats into the holes in the cube. Lubricate their ends with glue so that the slats hold tight.
- Paint the holder with a suitable paint and let it dry by hanging it by the hook. Since the mobile will be in the children's room, select a safe for the baby paint.
- It's time to start sewing toys. In our case, it's clouds and balloons with baskets. Cut out colorful parts in two copies, as each toy will consist of two parts, sewn together. By stacking pieces of different colors on each other, compose the toys, and then sew them, leaving a hole for the filler from below.
- To firmly fix the cord, tie a small plastic part to its end, insert it inside the toy and sew a hole.
- Similarly, sew the same number of clouds, and then fasten them on the cord over the balloons. In our case, four lateral suspensions consist of one balloon and one cloud, and the central (fifth) - of two balls, between which a cloud is placed.
- It remains to pass the ends of the cords into the holes on the side rails of the holder, and attach the central suspension to the hook. A wonderful outboard mobile phone for a baby that can be used in a baby cot is ready!
