Jam - a universal filler for any kind of baking, most importantly, pick up a suitable dough. Correctly selected dough will not allow the product to leak or soak up the cake during cooking and storage, and therefore it is best to give preference to the universal sand cake, which will keep all additives due to its high density. We decided to talk about recipes for a short pastry for a pie with jam in this material.

How to cook shortcakes for pie?

Let's start with the most classical variation, the composition of which includes flour, ice oil and water. Please note that not only the products, but also the utensils should be as cold as possible, but everything so that the dough does not rise and bubble during baking, but remains as crisp, oily and dense as possible.

You can leave the dough fresh, but we decided to pour a little powdered sugar to the flour.
