The Budva Riviera is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit Montenegro . This resort area includes the beaches of Budva and its environs. Here it is extremely good - the mountainous terrain prevents hot heat, and small pebbles are quite comfortable underfoot. However, the popularity of these beaches affects their fullness. But from every rule there is an exception. In the case of the Budva Riviera, it is Ploče beach.
What is the peculiarity of recreation here?
When there is nowhere to drop an apple on Budva's beaches, only 9 km from the city there is a paradise where, even at the height of the season, it is quite spacious. It's about Ploce, which is surrounded on all sides by sharp boulders. In truth, this beach is a rocky promontory that was once taken over by a family of entrepreneurs. It's impossible to get there by its own way - the very rocks prevent any pedestrian paths, so you will have to use motor transport.
Looking at the photo of Ploče beach in Montenegro, one can note the extreme accuracy of this place. Concrete slabs serve as a cover, and pebbles are in the water. Descent into the water passes through a special equipped staircase, which there are several pieces. Vacationers immediately fall to a certain depth, but there is some convenience - pebbles do not cut their feet when entering the sea. But the main uniqueness of Ploce lies in four pools with sea water: two of them are designed for children, one for adults, with bar tables and umbrellas, and another pool filled with foam.
If you move away a bit from the basic infrastructure of the beach, then the majestic beauty appears before your eyes. Sharp rocks break the horizon, and the seething waters of the Adriatic Sea complement the atmosphere as well as possible.
Tourist infrastructure Ploče
The entrance to the beach is free. But those same businessmen who so ennobled the beach, put one condition - it is forbidden to bring food and drinks with them. Everything needed is sold in the cafe and store located on the shore. There are no hotels on the coast of Ploče beach, but the entertainment complex Plaza Ploce operates.
In addition to the above amenities, on the coast you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas - their cost is 4 € and 2 € respectively. There are locker rooms, showers, a rescue station. In the evenings, night discos and foam parties are sometimes arranged here.
Among the available entertainment on the beach are catamarans, jet skis and skis. There are several sports grounds: for playing volleyball, table tennis, billiards, table football. Near the beach there are two parking spaces, one of which is paid.
How to get to Ploče beach?
From Budva to Ploce can be reached by public transport. Every hour and a half on the route Budva - Yaz - Trsteno - Ploce the bus runs. The fare is 2 €, the route starts at 8:00. On a rented car from Budva in Ploce, you can take the route number 2, the road will take no more than 15 minutes.
