Vevey Historical Museum


Vevey is a famous resort of Switzerland , located near Lausanne and Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva . Musée du Vieux-Vevey

The historical museum Vevey was founded more than a century ago and is located in the most beautiful place of the city - an ancient castle of the 16th century. In the collection of the Vevey Historical Museum there are objects of fine and decorative art, documents and materials that reveal important events of the city since the Celtic era. In addition to the museum of history in the castle Vevey is also a museum of the brotherhood of wine growers.

How to get there and when to visit?

The Vevey Historical Museum operates according to the following schedule: March-October-Tuesday-Sunday 10.30-12.00 and 14.00-17.30 hours; November-February-Tuesday-Sunday from 14.00 to 17.00. The admission fee is 5 CHF for adults and 4 CHF for students, pensioners and children under 16 years. You can get to the Vevey Historical Museum by buses to the Clara-Haskil stop.
