Sleep is a unique phenomenon, which until now has not been fully explored by science due to the fact that it is difficult to research and complicate the application of the scientific approach. Nevertheless, some successes in this area have been achieved. Some regularities of the influence of night scenes on people were revealed. As a result of this, the scientists systematized all the dreams and divided into groups.
Types of dreams:
- Actual. This kind of the most simple and easily understandable. It reflects our memories, or repeats our emotions experienced for the day. They do not carry any information.
- Duplicate. Repetition of the same dream indicates the presence of some unsolvable problem in humans. His subconscious motivates him to seek a solution to the problem. But, unfortunately, it is very difficult to determine what kind of situation worries a person at night. Perhaps the help of specialists (psychologists, psychoanalysts) will come in handy.
- Continuing dreams. This option is very similar to the previous one. Most likely, there is a problem, it is simply stated in several series. With the elimination of a problem or difficulty, a series of endless dreams will cease to bother.
- Compensatory. Often, people have a mass of complexes. Compensatory dreams help them feel better, stronger, smarter. People present themselves as lords of the worlds and warriors overcoming crowds of evildoers. This kind of dreams allows you to create a balance with the psychological evaluation of a person and save him from complexes.
- Creative. Such dreams - the lot of writers, artists, poets, artists, in one word the people of art. Through dreams, they are looking for new ways for self-expression. They are even in a dream are in search of a plot, characters, come up with new acting moves. Many of the characters of Charles Dickens came to him in a dream.
- Physiological. These kinds of dreams are the result of external conditions. If a person is cold, he can dream of snow, if he falls out of bed, dream that he hovers in the air. This category includes erotic dreams that have arisen because of long sexual abstinence.
- Prophetic. This is the least studied type of sleep. It is known reliably only that they do exist. But what are the prophetic dreams, why and why - science is still unknown. Most often they come in the second half of the night, when a person rested.
- Warning. With the help of warning dreams, the subconscious mind tries to inform the person about the approaching trouble.
Types and stages of sleep
When a person sleeps, there is an alternation of two main phases: a fast and slow sleep. At the beginning of falling asleep - the slow phase prevails, and before awakening - a fast one.
Slow sleep is divided into the following stages:
- a nap with sleepy hallucinations and half asleep dreams;
- disconnection of consciousness, the person at this moment is easy to wake up;
- consciousness continues to turn off - a person ceases to respond to noise;
- deep dream.
