Very soon the bright Easter holiday will come, therefore it makes sense to decorate our plate, which will certainly stand on the honorable place of the festive table, pictures on the Easter theme.

Decoupage of plates: master class

Let's proceed directly to decorating the glass plate with the technique of decoupage. To do this, we will need very few materials - the plate itself, napkin, glue on glass, glitter, craquelure, PVA glue, acrylic paint of white and blue.

1. Looking for a suitable napkin on the theme of "Easter", it is better to take a multi-colored napkin with many different drawings. Well, if you can use a special napkin, purchased in handicraft shops complete with a set for decoupage, but you can take the most ordinary, if the work is done extremely accurately, the usual napkin also looks very nice. We used a regular napkin.

2. For work it is better to take a deep glass plate without a pattern and patterns.

3. To glue the napkin, take the glue on the glass.

4. Cut out the motives we need from the napkin. Leave only the top layer of paint. We glue the glue on the salad bowl with the front side, to our underside. We work only with the outer side of the plate, we do not perform the work inside the salad bowl. Adhesive is applied over the napkin. Carefully spreading her fingers.

5. That's how our glass plate changes after pasting the first drawings. The face of the motive is seen from inside the salad bowl. The glue that extends beyond the motif is easily removed with a wet cotton swab, unless of course it is allowed to dry and do it very carefully.

6. We need a dry glider, in short, sequins.

7. Turn over the salad bowl. On the back side, that is, on the side, where the motifs of napkins are pasted, brush with PVA glue, diluted with water one to one, sprinkle glue on the glue.

8. Let the plate dry, this process can be speeded up with a hair dryer. Now our plate looks like this.

9. Then paint with white acrylic paint. Apply the paint two times with a sponge to dry the first layer.

10. We paste motifs of napkins on the contrary, that is face to us. It is imperative that after each stage of the work we give the time to dry the product well.

11. Now we will apply a one-step craquel composition.

12. Apply with a brush in one direction. Drying time 30 minutes.

13. Apply a contrasting paint color, we used bright blue. If you want to get delicate cracks, which will increase the effect of the painted picture, then the paint should be applied with a sponge. Two times a sponge for one and the same place can not pass, so we work extremely carefully.

14. Here such cracks appeared already at the very beginning of the application of the paint.

15. Bring to the proper form, after which we varnish three to four times.

16. Here's the Easter dish we got. Inside it is just a glass that is not covered with paint or lacquer, so you can safely put anything in it.
