When we decided which blinds and how we will mount, we need to make sure whether all the tools we have for work and whether all the components of the blinds are in place.
How to hang horizontal blinds on the window?
In order to hang the blinds we need a screwdriver, screwdriver and brackets.
To begin with, at one level, make holes for the brackets. For this, we retreat from the glass 5 - 7 cm.
To fix the structure, the brackets are installed a little further than the control mechanism. Stepping away from the edge, make a hole on the sash of the window.
We install brackets at the top of the leaf if the window is opened, and on the outside of the bead, if the window does not open. Horizontal blinds are inserted into the brackets, which snap into place.
We lower the blinds and install the lower locks. For this, we make the marking and screw the screw with a fixing screw in the bottom or on the side of the window leaf. After that, the fixed blinds are checked.
How to properly hang vertical blinds?
Now consider how to hang vertical blinds. To install the blinds, we check whether everything is included, and we select the set of necessary tools. We need a drill with a 6 mm drill, a screwdriver, a hammer, a dowel, a pencil and scissors.
We make the marking for the brackets, adding to the height of 2 cm, placing the fasteners from the edge of the cornice at a distance of 10 cm. We collect brackets with a spring.
Then we drill a hole in the wall, insert a plug, plugs and fix the brackets with screws.
We install on the cornice mounting brackets and decorative panels. Then fix it, inserting the front part into engagement with the short edge of the attachment spring. Fix the cornice by pressing the other edge on the fixing spring until a click occurs.
Collect the runners, unfolding them perpendicular to the cornice and install the lamellas in them until they click.
In the lower part of the lamellas we insert weights, ledges, under the chain which should be on top, and we catch the decorative chain.
In the panel mounting brackets, we install the decorative panel , inserting the end corners and side panels into its ends.
Our last step will be checking the operation of the blinds. For this purpose, we completely extend the blinds with the control cord and then close the lamella control chain.
Correctly installed blinds will long please our eyes, decorating our room. And most importantly, will bring us coziness and coolness during the hot season.
