Rooster of the felt

Toy cockerels are especially relevant in the coming year. Petushkov, sewn from felt, can be given to friends and relatives or used to decorate the room for the New Year .

From this master class you will learn how to make a cock with your own hands.

To make a souvenir cockerel, we will need:

• orange, blue, yellow, green and red colors;
• sintepon;
• red lace;
• large wooden beads (2 pcs.);
• small black beads (2 pcs.)
• thread;
• yellow ribbon;
• needle;
• scissors.

Operating procedure:

1. We will make a pattern of a souvenir cockerel made of felt. We will cut out the trunk, head, neck, tail, leg, scallop, beak, beard, wing.
2. On paper details we will cut out parts of a toy from a multi-colored felt, as well as a few flowers and feathers for wings and tail.
3. To the yellow details of the trunk we sew small flowers.
4. We sew the details of the neck to the details of the head.
5. Head and neck we sew to the details of the trunk.
6. Sew the details of the trunk with the head, leaving the underside undecidated.
7. We sew multicolored feathers to the tail.
8. Sew the details of the tail, leaving an unsecured area at the base of the tail.
9. Flowers prishem to the details of the wings.
10. Sew the wings with their paired details. On each wing, too, you need to leave a hole.
11. Add it in pairs and sew a scallop, beak and beard. On these details, too, leave holes.
12. On two small pieces of a lace we will fasten knots and we shall put on them on a bead.
13. Sew the details of the legs, sewing to the rounded part of the shoelaces with beads, and the straight sides left unguarded.
14. Fill the sintepon with legs, wings, tail, scallop, beard and beak.
15. We will also fill the body with a sintepon.
16. In the lower part of the trunk of the cockerel we sew the legs.
17. Sew holes on the beak, tail, wings, beard and scallop.
18. To the body of the cockerel we sew a scallop, wings, a beak and a beard.
19. From both sides, we sew the eye-beads to the head.
20. At the top we sew a loop of yellow ribbon.

The cockerel is ready. Such a souvenir will be a good gift for the New Year. Bright cockerel can be hung on the tree, near the window or on the wall.
