"Autumn is gold" - costume for a girl

There are several ways how for a girl's costume for a feast of autumn.

For the first of them we need:

• a piece of orange felt, measuring 150x150 cm;
• glue gun;
• autumn leaves - artificial or real, covered with pre-melted paraffin for strength,

• scissors.

Getting Started

1. The skirt for the golden autumn costume will be sewn on the next pattern.
2. You can not make a paper pattern, but build it directly on the fabric. To do this, we add the length of the felt in half in width and length.
3. From the central angle, we lay the radius equal to the waist circumference divided by 3.14.
4. Draw a circle and carefully cut it out. And then we do all the same, putting off the desired length of our skirt from the first circle.

2. Trim the rectangles at the bottom with large zigzags that mimic the roots of the tree.
3. On the detail of the transfer paste or sew an arbitrary oval from a dark brown felt - the annual rings of our tree.
4. Sew the shoulder and side seams, not forgetting to leave holes for hands and head.
5. We decorate the top of the costume with a magnificent collar made of autumn leaves. For this, the leaves need to be glued in several layers, not forgetting to let each layer dry. If the costume is decorated with real leaves, so that they do not break, they should be covered with a thin layer of molten paraffin.
6. We make a crown and armlets, pasting on a part from felt several layers of leaves.
