Before you prepare a compote of grapes for the winter, place a container of water on high heat, and until the liquid reaches the boil, prepare the grapes by removing the berries from the brush and rinsing well.

Prepare the cans by thoroughly rinsing them with soda or detergent, and then rinsing. Spread the grapes in clean jars, filling them with about a third, and pour all the boiling water. Put on the neck of the jar lids with holes and set the compote aside for about 10 minutes. During this time the water will absorb a part of the grape fragrance and its color.
