Master-class №1: Knitted cushions
It will take:
- hook number 4;
- a needle with a wide eye;
- scissors;
- multi-colored and white yarn;
- a pillow measuring 50x50 cm.
- We take the yarn of white color, we make a loop from the double thread and fix it.
- We make columns around this ring with two crochets. Having made 12 such columns, between the first and last we make a connecting loop.
- The end of the thread is inserted into the needle and we pull the thread through two adjacent columns forward, and then back.
- So we get a tight ring.
- We take orange yarn. We make 1 loop on the hook, and then through every three columns of white yarn we perform 6 with a double thread on an orange thread. In total there should be 4 such groups. We finish, making a connecting loop between the first and last column.
- For a stronger connection, it is recommended that the ends be sewn with the needle in the same way as the first circle ends.
- We take yellow yarn. From the place where we finished the last row, we begin to perform columns with double crochets, maintaining the regularity:
- at the corners of 6 pieces;
- on the sides - 3 pieces each.
At the end we connect, again stretching the thread with a needle through the neighboring loops. We should have such a square. We take white yarn and, keeping the regularity on the sides 2 times on 3 columns, and on corners - on 6 columns, we knit here such square. Changing the sequence of colors, we perform 25 such squares. We connect small squares to a large one using connecting loops, performed on those sides that will be in contact with each other. It is necessary to make sure that all parts are facing up. In order to avoid the formation of voids in the junctions, they are made with columns with one crochet from different sides. To the top (front) side of our pillow was ready, we tie the whole large square with columns with one crochet for 3 pieces, and in the places of joining the parts - we make 4 tabs, 2 for each individual box. The wrong side of our pillow is made in the form of a single square, executed in the same way as small ones, just the size of a large square for the front side. To reach this size, simply with each row increases the number of columns. Fold the two sides to each other with both sides. We connect them with each other from three sides by connecting loops. We insert the pillow inside and finish connecting the fourth side with knitting loops or sewing with a needle. Our rainbow pillow is ready!
