Dumplings from cottage cheese

Traditionally we are used to eating dumplings with sour cream, cracklings, or butter. But very few people know that dumplings can be cooked with an even wider range of various additives, for example cheese, or cottage cheese. It was the last version of this dish that we decided to pay special attention to.

Recipe for dumplings from cottage cheese

In fact, dumplings from cottage cheese are not much different from lazy vareniki. Serve this dish as in a salted version with butter and cracklings, and in addition to sweet sauces, or jam.

The secret of how to cook delicious dumplings from curd is hidden in the consistency of the latter. Cottage cheese should be very soft and homogeneous, with small grains. Thus, before preparing the dough, curd the cottage cheese through a sieve and only then mix with sugar, soft butter (about a tablespoon, and the rest we save for serving) with egg and flour.

If you cook sweet dumplings - you can add a little vanilla sugar, or essences. Thoroughly beat the curd mass with a blender and pour the sifted flour. The finished dough should not be steep, so that the ready dumplings do not come out tight and rubbery. From the dough, make sausage and cut it into slices.

We cook dumplings 3-4 minutes after surfacing, then take out with a noise and immediately fill with butter. You can serve such dumplings from cottage cheese with jam, or strawberry sauce , the latter is prepared simply simple: 500 g of strawberries are cooked with ½ st. sugar and the same amount of water for about 30 minutes. We complement the sauce with the juice of half a lemon. Before serving, the sauce can be mashed, or wiped through a sieve, or you can leave pieces of whole berries.

Cottage cheese dumplings with spinach

Cheese is rubbed and mixed with mashed curd and egg. In the future dough, add a pinch of salt and pre-scalded and chopped spinach. Fold the dough through the garlic press and add the sifted flour. Ready dough rolled into sausage and cut into small portions. We cook dumplings after the ascent of 3-4 minutes.

In the pan, we heat the oil and fry dumplings to a golden color on both sides.
