Fitness aerobics is the execution of exercises to music. The founder of traditional aerobics was the famous actress Jane Fonda. Aerobic promotes improvement in the body metabolism, plasticity of muscles and skin, strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. But, all the same, before classes it is necessary to consult the doctor. In groups of aerobics, usually, up to 12 people are engaged. The duration of training is 45-60 minutes.
Music for fitness and aerobics is selected by rhythmic dance at the appropriate pace and melody, as a rule, have a smooth transition, without pauses. In most cases, aerobics is involved in the desire to lose weight. The fitness aerobics program for weight loss will be effective only if you engage actively and regularly 3-4 times a week and combine exercise with proper nutrition. The results will be felt after a few lessons, but visible to others, about two months later.
The fastest way to achieve the ideal figure will be a mixture of aerobics and gym classes. Since the exercises are performed at a fairly fast pace, then clothes for training should be chosen light: shorts, topic or T-shirt, elastic swimsuit. It is advisable to take a towel and a bottle of water. But do not get carried away with water in the class, you can take 1-2 small sips and no more, as the load on the heart is already quite large.
Types of traditional aerobics:
- Mix-aerobics - this is a class consisting of compositions of several exercises;
- kick-aerobics - an abbreviation means: cardio, intense, condition. Hence, the exercises are required to be performed at a high rate, which promotes endurance;
- dance aerobics, for example, latin - beautiful rhythmic and passionate movements under the burning Latin American music;
- funk aerobics - performed with dance elements taken from club dances. Promotes normal operation of the heart and lungs, improves coordination of movements;
- Hip-hop aerobics, or, as it is also called, street dance, includes a set of aerobics exercises coupled with dance elements of hip-hop;
- a common form: siti-jam - dance with elements of aerobics to the music of discos and jazz rhythms;
- retro disco - consists mainly of dance improvisation to the music of the 1970s-1980s. Here there is a stylized choreography - tap dance, tango, rock, Spanish dances, a shake in a complex with enhanced physical training;
- Body ballet is an original aerobic exercise that mixes with the exercises necessary to develop flexibility, as well as movements from traditional dances;
- slide aerobics - in these exercises, exercises are performed on a special track in special shoes. Here you need to simulate the sliding movements of a skier or skater. In this case, the load is especially given on the inner and outer sides of the foot;
- in the exercises fitbolom exercises do, sitting or lying on special balls. This kind of aerobics helps to improve posture, correct the figure, improve coordination of movements. It is recommended to people with any level of training, including those who have undergone surgery and are on rehabilitation.
In addition to these types of aerobics, there are many others, according to which classes are not so popular yet.
Competitions in fitness aerobics
The international federation of fitness and aerobics - FISAF is the initiator of the development of this direction at the world level. The first championship was held in 1999 in France. Competitions are held in 3 disciplines:
- aerobics;
- fitness step aerobics;
- hip-hop aerobics.
Competitions are held not only among adults, fitness aerobics for children is also very popular, it allows to perfectly develop dexterity, coordination and strengthen health.
