The nature of Africa, as, indeed, and any other corner of the Earth, is unique. You can touch it in the center of the giraffes "Langata" in Kenya . The idea to create such a center came to mind members of the African Wildlife Protection Foundation. And soon there was also the first inhabitant - it was the baby giraffe, whose wife Melville was caught near his house in 1979.
Our days
So, what awaits us in the center of giraffes "Langata"? Here you will be told about different kinds of these beautiful animals and even will allow them to be fed. Now they breed mostly Masai and Rothschild giraffes. They are very few in nature, but for their living in the center a lot of space is allocated - 90 acres.
Pedestrian routes are laid throughout the center. During the walk, you can see other African giraffes: leopards, hyenas, monkeys, warthogs and, in passing, enjoy the tropical landscapes.
Buy souvenirs for memory, cards, books dedicated to the center or crafts, created by local artisans, you can in souvenir shops.
