For example, if the sound in one or both headphones "blinks", then disappearing, then reappearing, it is most likely to be a break in the wire. To begin with, it is worthwhile to test the wire with a multimeter, cutting the insulation from its two sides. If there are no breaks in the wire, the device will emit a characteristic squeak and the cause of the breakdown is in the plug or headphones. If there is no sound signal, another incision should be made in the middle of the wire and then test each of its halves.
How to fix headphones if the wire is torn?
- To fix an interrupted wire, you must first determine the exact point at which this trouble occurred. To do this, you need to turn on the headphones and walk the entire length of the wire with your fingers, bending it at an angle of 90 degrees. On the site, when bending it in the headphones, the sound will be restored or there will be noise, and the fault lies.
