How to sew a skirt with your own hands?

In the wardrobe of every woman there are always skirts of several styles. They help her to create different images: a pencil - business, mini - sexy, klesh or sun - free. They can be bought, but to be individual, it is better to create their own models.

When we sew a skirt ourselves, we mostly use patterns. But not everyone knows how to properly create them. There are such styles that you can do without them.

In this article, we will consider several options for how to sew a skirt without a pattern.

Master-class №1: how to sew a skirt a pack

You will need:

• organza - length 2 m, width 1.5 m;
• elastic - 50-60 cm (depends on the waist);
• thread (the color of the material);
• sewing machine with overlock function.

1. We cut the organza in strips of 50-60 cm. We will get them 5. We process the trimmed edges with an overlock, simultaneously connecting the bands with each other.
2. At one end of the elastic we make a knot.
3. We fold the strip of organza in half and insert the rubber into the inside, leaving the knot out. Straining along the gum. For 5-6 cm to the end it is necessary to stop.
4. We pull the elastic band forward, collecting the organza on it. Hold the folds, continue to scribble.
5. We do so until the very end of the band. We spend the ends of gum with each other.

Master-class number 2: how to sew a magnificent skirt with your own hands

You will need:

• fabric (cotton): 3 m long, 1 m wide;
• sealant;
• thin elastic and button;
• lightning - 20 cm;
• sewing accessories.

1. Cut out of the fabric 3 rectangles long, equal to the waist circumference, and a width of 55 cm. Then we sew the pieces together on the short side to make a long rectangle. Through the entire length, with the help of pins, we make folds. We retreat 2.5 cm, we pin 5 cm of material. We continue this way to the end.
2. Spread along each crease from the edge down 3-4 cm. We open each crease and iron it. So that they do not part, we make a line along the entire length, crossing the folds perpendicularly.
3. Cut out of the same cloth rectangle: width 10 cm and a length equal to the waist circumference + 5 cm. The same dimensions make a part of the seal and put the top of the belt parts. We iron with an iron to connect them. Fold the part in half and smooth it. On the wrong side, we attach one part of the belt to the top of our workpiece.

It will take:

• thin material (for example, knitwear) with a size of 2 m by 1.5 m;
• elastic band 5 cm wide;
• sewing accessories.

1. We fold the fabric so that the top layer is 90 cm wide and the bottom layer is 110 cm. To make the skirt smooth, we cut the material on all sides with pins. To the top of the fabric we put an elastic band and denote its width with pins. Or you can draw a pencil.
2. On the line, we spend it. We attach a pin to the elastic band and thread it into the hole made. The end of the rubber band must be secured.
3. after the elastic band is passed through the entire length, we evenly distribute the folds of the material along the elastic band. We match the sides of the workpiece and spend them.
