This dessert is a small cakes of rectangular shape, but sometimes they are made large and round. Cake millet is sandwiched with fruits, various sweet creams, fruit jams, nuts, cheese and other various dessert delicacies. Top with a glaze based on sugar. The slow snack malfee can be with layers of fish or lobster, various vegetables, pates, thick sauces. It is usually served at the beginning of lunch or dinner. The first recipe for Malfoy was published by the French culinary expert Francois Pierre in 1651. The recipe was perfected by the famous confectioner Marie-Antoine Carem.

Cream for malfeas are prepared in several versions. The most common is a cream based on Mascarpone cheese, which is supplemented with egg yolks and a little sugar powder. Since "Mascarpone" is not so much cheese, as very thick and fatty cream, dessert is very caloric. Another option is a custard.

To prepare the cream, carefully separate the yolks from the proteins. From proteins you can make meringue or marshmallow, and yolks with a powder of sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Gradually add flour and mix until homogeneous. Warm the milk, pour a third of the milk into the yolks and mix well. When the remaining milk boils, a thin trickle, continuously stirring, we pour into it the yolk mass. We will cook, stirring constantly, so that the cream is not burned, until the cream begins to thicken. Fill cognac, stir and cool the cream. To make it plastic, you can add 200 g of butter until the cream is completely cooled. To make a vanilla millefe, a vanilla pod is added to the milk, heated, then scraped off the vanilla, and the pod is removed. Cakes grease with a cooled cream, it is laid berries or fruit.
