Arriving in Honduras , lovers of eco-tourism often visit the pride of the country, the waterfall Pulhapanzak. In addition, not far from it is no less famous lake Yohoa .
What is interesting waterfall?
This beauty is located in the province of Cortez and is the largest waterfall in the country. Its height is 43 m and the one who first sees it, it may seem that Pulhapanzak has no beginning. It looks very unusual: it flows out of the debris of tropical forests, and its sound is so deafening that it is impossible to hear either the singing of exotic birds or the voice of a nearby interlocutor.
Visitors are given the opportunity to admire the waterfall from above as well as from below. Some brave souls manage to sit down near the cliff and make breathtaking photos.
Local residents assure: this landmark country should be visited first. They claim that the Maya was given the name of the waterfall, and in all likelihood, it is. Literally the name "Pulhapanzak" is translated as "leaving the banks of the white river".
How to get to the waterfall?
Pulhapanzak is 10 minutes drive north of the natural lake of Lago de Jóhoa, an hour's drive from San Pedro Sula and 2.5 hours from Tegucigalpa .
