Museum of eroticism

The Erotic Museum in Copenhagen was founded in 1992 by filmmaker Oleh Yejem and photographer Kim Reisfeldt-Klausen. Two years later the museum changed its "place of residence" to a more prestigious one, it was moved to the center of the city, where it is still located. Annually one of the most unusual museums in Copenhagen is visited by more than a million tourists from all over the world, according to statistics, half of them are women. Since the collection contains exhibits that are not intended for persons under the age of 18, children are not allowed entry, but a discount of 50% is available for students. Perhaps this is done because the museum tells not only about the intimacy between a man and a woman, but also about the relationship between them, which helps the sexual education of youth.

Exhibits

Among the exhibits of the museum there are paintings, sculptures, erotic underwear, photographs, prints, sex toys and everything that could tell about the development of eroticism at different times in Denmark . Therefore, all the works are exhibited in chronological order, so that every guest of the museum could even without the guide understand how the intimate relations between the sexes developed in a certain era. Also in the museum are exhibits that tell of what happened in the bedrooms of famous people, such as H.K. Andersen, Marilyn Monroe, Sigmund Freud, etc. By the way, the Museum of Erotica in Copenhagen is the only one among them, in which you can learn about the intimate life and love relationships of celebrities.

The creators of the museum worked in the field of cinema, so it's not strange that for pornographic films there is a whole wall, on which they are broadcast from time to time. It is this part of the museum that most often causes violent emotions among the guests.
