Potato casserole , at the beginning of its history, was positioned as a dish of people who were not healthy, but over time, the recipe was supplemented by many other ingredients and simple baked potatoes turned into a luxurious dish with an abundance of cream and cheese in its composition.
Recipe for potato casserole with cheese
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 400 g;
- bacon - 250 g;
- grated hard cheese - 2 tablespoons;
- milk - 1/4 of the item;
- sour cream - 1/2 table;
- butter - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- dried green onions - 1 teaspoon;
- salt pepper;
- Dried garlic - to taste.
Preparation
Oven reheat to 200 degrees. We prick the potatoes with a fork and put them on a baking sheet, bake for about an hour, or until soft, after which we let the tubers cool for 15-20 minutes.
Bacon cut into thin slices and put in a frying pan. As soon as the pieces become browned and crunchy, put them on paper towels to remove excess fat. Ruddy bacon with his hands.
Cut the potatoes in half and remove the flesh from them using a spoon. We knead the pulp with a crust in a mash, adding sour cream, milk, onions, garlic, salt with pepper and butter. Mix the glass of cheese with mashed potatoes and spread the resulting mass into a baking dish, pre-oiled. Sprinkle the future casserole with cheese and crumb of bacon.
Potato casserole with cheese will be ready after 10-15 minutes in the oven heated to 200 degrees.
Potato casserole with melted cheese and lavash
Ingredients:
- potatoes (large) - 3 pcs .;
- processed cheese - 200 g;
- milk;
- lavash - 1 pack;
- sweet corn - 1 pot;
- tomatoes in its own juice - 400 g;
- chili pepper - 1 pc .;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc .;
- onions - 1 pc .;
- hard cheese - 150 g;
- salt pepper.
Preparation
In a frying pan fry onions and bell peppers until the onion is golden. To passezrovke add chopped chili (to taste) and pour tomatoes in its own juice . Stew the sauce until thick, about 15 minutes, not forgetting to season it with salt and pepper.
Potatoes are cleaned, cut and boiled until fully prepared in salted water. Finished pieces mash with a small amount of milk until the formation of puree mass.
Form the baking oil and lubricate the bottom of the layer of mashed potatoes. On top of the mash we put a sheet of pita bread folded in two and smear it with melted cheese. Over the pita bread we distribute the mashed potatoes, then again the pita bread, tomato sauce and a little corn. Repeat the procedure and finish the casserole with a potato layer. Sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese and put the casserole in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
Potato and meat casserole with cheese
Ingredients:
- olive oil;
- ground beef - 1 1/4 kg;
- onions - 2 pcs .;
- carrots - 3 pieces;
- celery - 3 stems;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- flour - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
- red wine - 1 glass;
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 tbsp. spoons;
- thyme - 2 branches;
- bay leaves - 2 pcs.
For mashed potatoes:
- potatoes - 1.8 kg;
- milk - 225 ml;
- butter - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
- grated hard cheese - 200 g;
- nutmeg - pinch.
Preparation
We heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the mince on it until it is completely ready. Vegetables cut into small cubes and fry about 20 minutes in a separate frying pan. After the time has passed, we add garlic and tomato paste to the pan, mix everything thoroughly and add wine, sauce and herbs. Mix with minced vegetables and simmer all together for 30-35 minutes at minimum heat. While meat is stewed, let's take up potatoes. The tubers are cleaned, mine, boiled until ready and poured with the addition of butter, milk and nutmeg. Ready mashed potatoes mixed with cheese.
At the bottom of the baking dish we lay minced meat with vegetables, and on top of the meat layer we distribute the mashed potatoes. We prepare a potato casserole with ground meat and cheese at 200 degrees 25-30 minutes.
