Review of the coloring book "Colorful Nature" by Francesco Pito and Bernadette Gervais

What we used to see children's books-coloring? White sheets of paper with black contours of little animals, cars, cartoon characters. Children love to paint and enjoy spending time with paints, pencils and felt-tip pens. But if you really want to surprise the child - pay attention to the new album of the publishing house "Mann, Ivanova and Ferber" with the title "Colorful Nature", the authors Francesco Pito and Bernadette Gervais (those who created the sensational "Zhinevotov" - AXINAMU).

I must say that the format of the book differs from the usual one, it is really big, 30x30 cm in paperback, with quality offset printing, white sheets, dense, do not appear translucent.

A few words about the content of the album

On its 10 pages - simple drawings, but most importantly, they are all decorated with slits, figure-stencils, cut-out pages with collecting pictures, and windows that hide animals, insects, birds and fish:

The drawings are quite simple and will be understandable even to the very crumbs. Some of them are half painted in a childish manner. And the kid is invited to finish the rest of the parts himself, or to paint the pictures himself, including his imagination and imagination. The pages have enough space for the child to finish the picture with other details, inventing a story, developing creative potential. Drawing a book, you do not put it on the back shelf, you can continue to play with it and look at the pictures, opening the windows.

Our impression

I liked the album "Colorful Nature" for my 4-year-old son, he sits with pleasure, filling details of drawings with bright colors, playing with pages, proudly showing the results of his work. The presence of parents in coloring is not required, which, for sure, will be appreciated by parents who do not know what to do with a child.

The book is recommended for children from 3 to 8 years and will be a wonderful gift for a young artist.
