To issue a child's birth certificate, you need to go to the registry office with a certificate from the maternity home, which you give to your mother at the time of discharge, your parents' passports and, of course, a certificate of their marriage. Today, more and more couples prefer not to officially register their relations. Then documents for the registration of a newborn should be submitted by both parents, who will confirm the existence of a civil marriage. Depending on the queue and workload of the registry office, in a few days the parents are issued with their passports, where in the "children" box a note, birth certificate of the child and certificates that give the right to make allowances are issued.

Further, the procedure for the registration of a newborn provides for obtaining an appropriate certificate that a new citizen of the country has been registered. To do this, you should apply at the place of residence or stay in the local government (migration service). Today, an electronic procedure for registering a newborn with the help of the "Personal Cabinet" on the portal "Public Services" has already been developed. Paradoxically, the registration of a newborn child is a controversial issue. Thus, the rules for the registration of newborns provide for the possibility of obtaining a certificate within the first month after the appearance of the baby, and there are no time limits for registration. But, by law, a person is required to register a registration within ten days after arrival. How to be, because newborns have a special status? It turns out that a document that parents can only receive in a month, they must apply for registration after 10 days. The only way out is not to delay the execution of documents.
So, what is needed to register a newborn, what documents to prepare for parents? First, we need to write a standard statement. Of course, the sample will be provided. Next, documents about the identity of the parents, a birth certificate of the child are presented. If a newborn is planning to register in a place where no parent is registered, their consent will be required (in writing). It is worth noting that the owners of the premises agree with the registration of the baby or not, it does not matter. If at least one of the parents is registered in the room, then the child will be registered automatically.
Special cases
It often happens that a parent is born with a temporary registration. The rules according to which the newborn is temporarily registered remain unchanged. However, there is a nuance - it's timing. If the place of temporary residence is not a place of residence, then registration must be completed within three months. Otherwise, a fine can not be avoided.
In the case when a newborn is registered outside of the marriage, the data on the mother is entered on the birth certificate according to her documents. Information about the father of the baby can be made on the basis of:
- an act of record confirming the establishment of paternity;
- statements by the mother;
- a statement by a person who recognizes himself as a father (the consent of the mother is compulsory).
