You can say that boiled vegetables are a tasteless dead-end branch of cooking, but we will prove to you the opposite with these simple, varied, and most importantly tasteful recipes. Now, you will understand that vegetables for a couple can be cooked not only for the baby, but for the company of adults for dinner.
How to cook vegetables for a couple?
Ingredients:
- young carrots - 6-8 pieces;
- asparagus - 1 bunch;
- zucchini (small) - 3 pcs .;
- butter - 40 g;
- grated lemon peel - 2 tsp.
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp. a spoon.
Preparation
We clean the young carrots and put the steamers on the grate. We cook the carrots for 5 minutes, then add asparagus and sliced zucchini to it. We continue cooking for 2 more minutes. Vegetables should be ready, but not turn into a mess, but keep their dense texture. In a frying pan, melt the butter and mix it with grated lemon zest. Add the vinegar to the oil and mix everything with the vegetables. Before serving, season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
Chinese steamed vegetables in a multivariate
In the recipe, we will use green Chinese vegetables, but you can replace them with any available ones, for example, green leafy cabbage, broccoli, peas and others.
Ingredients:
- cabbage bok choy, gai lum, asparagus - 1 bunch;
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- oyster sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- honey - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
- sesame oil -1 tsp.
Preparation
In the cup of the multivarker, bring the water to a boil. We put a container for cooking on top of a couple and place all our washed and dried greens in it. We cook the vegetables for a couple of minutes.
In the meantime, we are preparing a gas station. Mix the vegetable oil with the garlic, honey, oyster or soy sauce passed through the press, as well as sesame oil.
We serve vegetables for a couple with rice, watering them with honey dressing.
Vegetables for steamed sauce
Ingredients:
- cauliflower - 500 g;
- zucchini - 2 pcs .;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc .;
- lemon - 1/2 pcs .;
- low-fat yogurt - 1 item;
- honey - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- mustard - 1 teaspoon;
- green onion, basil, parsley;
- garlic - 1 clove.
Preparation
In the saucepan bring the water to a boil and put a basket on it for steaming. We put the prepared vegetables in a basket: the cabbage, cut into squash, sliced zucchini and pepper. We cook the vegetables until soft, and in the meantime we take up yoghurt sauce. Mix low-fat yoghurt with honey and mustard, add crushed green herbs, salt with pepper to taste and skewered garlic through the press. We pour the vegetables with sauce before serving.
Vegetables for a couple - recipe for steamed cabbage and bacon
Ingredients:
- bacon - 175 g;
- cabbage - 1,5 kg;
- butter - 40 g;
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp. a spoon.
Preparation
Cabbage shred, put in a basket for steaming and place above the saucepan with boiling water. While the cabbage is being cooked, and it takes about 5 minutes, fry the sliced bacon in a frying pan until crunching on the melted butter. Once the cabbage is ready, we dry it with paper towels, mix it with fried bacon and Worcestershire sauce.
Vegetables for steaming under ginger sauce
Ingredients:
- broccoli - 1 head;
- honey - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
- soy sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- grated ginger - 1/2 tsp;
- sesame seeds.
Preparation
We disassemble the broccoli on the inflorescences and set them to cook for a couple until soft. From honey, soy sauce and ginger we prepare a light salted-sour sauce. Water the boiled inflorescence sauce, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve it to the table independently or with boiled rice. Bon Appetit!
