Treatment of chlamydia usually involves the use of antibacterial drugs that affect the infected microflora. The most effective antibiotics include azithromycin and doxycycline. When choosing a drug, the doctor takes into account the characteristics of each patient: her age, health status, the presence of chronic diseases, allergies and other factors. In addition to antibacterial agents, apply:
- antifungal agents
(Nystatin, Pimiafucin, Fluconazole); - immunomodulators (Interferon, Polyoxidonium, Cycloferon and Timalin);
- multivitamins;
- enzymes (Pancreatin, Mezim);
- bacteriophages and probiotics, as well as local anti-inflammatory drugs (vaginal suppositories, tampons, douching solutions).
During therapy, a woman should refuse to drink alcohol, dairy products and sex.
