Flambe - recipe

The term "Flambe" in French means literally - burning! Although this is not entirely true. Most likely, the flambe is a fiery extravaganza that can surprise everyone and give pleasure.

Banana Flambe

How to make a banana flambe? Bananas are cleaned and cut in half. In a frying pan, melt half a portion of butter and fry the slices of bananas.

In the other pan, we dissolve the remaining oil. We pour orange and lemon juice. Stirring, add sugar and wait until it completely dissolves. Cook the citrus syrup for about 3 minutes. Then turn off, shift the bananas and mix.

Immediately before serving, pour all brandy and set fire to it. When the flame disappears, we spread the bananas of the flambe on plates and lay out ice cream balls alongside. We decorate with fresh mint leaves.

Flambé pancakes - recipe

We sift the flour, add the egg to it, pour in the milk, salt and melted butter. Mix the homogeneous dough and leave it to stand for 30 minutes. Frying pan thoroughly warm up and bake delicate pancakes. With oranges, cut the zest and divide them into slices, removing the membranes.

Mix a little butter in a frying pan, add sugar, grated zest and a few slices of orange. Then we put a pancake folded in half, add cognac and set fire to it. In the same way we treat all pancakes. We serve them hot, with a bowl of ice cream.
