The total caloric content of this mixture, that is, granola, is about 400 kcal per 100 g. But, even at high caloric intake, granola is advised to eat for breakfast with diet food. Do not forget that fried nuts, not only that are very high in calories, they also accumulate carcinogens, so it is important to pay attention to the composition of the mixture consisted of dried nuts, and not fried.

There is also a dietary granola, which is used as a snack or snack. The composition of this mixture includes buckwheat flakes, diet dried fruits and, instead of honey, maple syrup. Caloric content of such granola is much lower, in addition, it can be consumed by people suffering from an allergic reaction to honey.

The benefits of granola are obvious, since the ingredients from which it is made are a storehouse of vitamins and nutrients. Nutrition of this mixture is such that, using a small amount of it, the energy reserve is replenished for a long time, while the correct carbohydrates included in the flakes are not deposited in the form of fatty deposits.
