Combine the soft butter, sugar and vanillin with a mixer until a creamy mass is obtained. In the received weight to drive in 2 eggs, to extinguish soda with vinegar and again to mix. Add 3.5 cups of pre-sifted flour (so that there are no lumps), the remaining 0.5 cup will be needed a little later. Thoroughly knead the dough until smooth.

Divide the dough into two unequal parts, leave the most part, and add to the smaller part the remaining 0.5 cups of flour, mix until smooth and put in the freezer. A small baking sheet should be covered with parchment, put a larger piece of dough on paper and spread it into a thin layer with dry hands, so that it completely covers the baking tray. The thickness of the dough should not be more than 15 mm. Then evenly distribute the jam over the entire surface.

The second part of the test is rubbed on a large grater on top of the pie. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. Ready grated sand cake with jam to cut into diamonds or squares and allow to cool, so that the jam a little stiffened and did not flow.

Melt or soften margarine in a saucepan. Beat separately egg, vanillin and sugar until smooth.

The amount of sugar can be adjusted depending on the filling: if jam with sourish - put more sugar in the dough, if the sweet - less.

Add the margarine and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Mix flour with baking powder and add to the resulting mass, knead. The dough is divided into two unequal parts. The part that is less to put in the refrigerator, and the remaining dough thinly roll out and put on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. From above evenly distribute the fragrant apple jam. Take the cooled second part of the dough and grate it on a large grater on top of the jam. Bake the cake for a short time, 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
