Recipe for freshly salted herring

Ingredients:

Preparation

Frozen carcasses keep the herring at room temperature for no more than half an hour, and then we cut them. We cut off unnecessary heads, carefully remove the skin layer, remove the fins and carefully remove from the ridge at first one part of the fish fillet, and from the second we already separate the ridge with the costal bones. Fleshki cut into beautiful pieces, each of which we dipped on both sides in the kitchen salt, mixed with a mixture of peppers. Further, very densely we put them in a plastic or glass tray and we pour the fillet laid with fragrant vegetable oil. Now that all the pieces of herring were covered with liquid, we add to them a little warm water and, closing the container, we send it to the refrigerator for only 8 hours. Then rinse all the fish and before use again sprinkle with oil.

Preparation

Pour the right amount of water into a saucepan. Pour out fine sugar, kitchen table salt and put brine on the included cooking plate. When he starts to boil good, we add laurel leaves, carnations buds and peppers. After 5 minutes, remove everything from the plate and put it in the place where the pickle can cool as quickly as possible.

We completely defrost the herring. We cut off the big knife of the head, rip open the abdomen, from which we extract all the insides, cut the fins with scissors, rinse each carcass and cut it into beautiful, not very large pieces.

We lay all the fish in a comfortable high bowl and cover it to the edge of the last piece with a fragrant, spicy aroma brine. Cover and put the bowl in the refrigerator, and after 15 hours can safely take a sample from our wonderful lightly salted herring.
