Review of the book "Food and the brain" - David Perlmutter

It's amazing how many people today pay so little attention to what they eat. But nutrition is the most important factor of quality and longevity. What we eat affects not only our current state of health, but also has a huge impact on health in the long run.

The book "Food and the brain" opens the answers to questions of nutrition of most modern people - the huge presence of sugar and gluten in the diet. Fast snacks in the form of bread and bakery products, the addition of sugar in all kinds of drinks and the lack of meaningful nutrition lead to a deterioration of memory, thinking and, in general, the quality of life.

Despite the fact that now a huge amount of popular science literature on nutrition is very controversial, I highly recommend that I get acquainted with this book because I felt the effectiveness of the recommended nutrition advice in practice. Do not blindly follow all the advice, but to have a general idea, in conjunction with other sources, will allow you to think critically and pick up the food that really allows your mind and body to work 100%.
