Summer is the time for fresh fruit, rest, and, of course, the time for harvesting for the winter. In this article, we will tell you how to close the compote of strawberries with mint. It turns out incredibly tasty and fragrant. A mint gives the drink a special piquancy. In winter, a glass of such compote will return us again in the warm summer.

We sort out the berries, removing the damaged and greenish ones. Then they are cleaned and thoroughly washed, so that there are no traces of sand and earth. After that, pour them into prepared cans, pour sugar, add mint leaves and pour boiling water to the very neck of the jar. We roll up the boiled metal lids, and then turn it upside down and wrap it up. Leave the banks in this form until completely cooled. Next, we remove the strawberry compote for storage.

Strawberries are mine and are cleaned from the tails, we put berries in a jar, we add mint sprigs. Pour boiling water, let stand for 10-15 minutes, then drain the liquid into a saucepan. The most convenient way to do this is by using a special lid with holes. We pour sugar into a saucepan with a drained liquid, mix it, give the syrup to boil and again pour the berries. Now we roll the cans with tin lids and immediately turn them over. In this case, banks do not need to be wrapped, as a double fill will be enough.

We clean the strawberry berries from the tails, and put them in pre-sterilized cans. There we also send a cherry, previously washed. Bones can be removed, and you can leave. But then such a compote is desirable to drink no later than the New Year, as later a substance will start to be released from the ossicles, which can worsen the taste of the drink. Next, pour sugar into the jars and add mint. Now pour about half a can of boiling water and leave the minutes for 30. After that, we remove the mint leaves, pour boiling water to the top and immediately roll, turn, wrap, and leave to cool. Prepared in this way, compote can be stored without a cellar.
