There are facts that confirm that the hand performs certain necessary functions even during the sleep of the person. With its help tactile and kinesthetic communication is carried out.

Wagner's Hand Test Method

It is believed that the perception of the hand shown on the cards is informative for the subject. The characteristics that the image gives to the person help to draw a conclusion about the behavioral tendencies of the individual.

The material used is 10 cards, nine of which represent brushes, and one is clean, the answer sheet and the hours necessary to record the initial reaction time.

The "hand test" assumes that the card is shown consistently and in a specific situation. The experimenter, in turn, must record the reaction time for each card.

The subject is asked questions, for example: "What do you think the hand does?". In case the answer is unambiguous or fuzzy, then the experimenter has the right to ask "What else does she do?". It is forbidden to impose specific answers. Feeling the resistance in his address, the conductor of the experiment is recommended to move on to the next card.

It will be best if the subject gives four variants of the vision of what is depicted on the card. The main thing is to avoid getting a fuzzy wording of the answer.

"Hand test E. Wagner" provides for fixing the answers in the appropriate protocol. It indicates the answers and position of the cards, the time of the beginning of the response to each image.
